*COVID-19 UPDATE*

We would like to start by thanking everyone that came out to the sugar bush these past two days to support us. Friends, volunteers, and customers alike. Every single one of you has made the difference for us this season!

Unfortunately, effective immediately we will no longer be serving meals out of our dining hall. This decision was made based on recent news and updates concerning the COVID-19 virus from Public Health. We WILL continue to sell syrup and other maple products out of our store. We appreciate your continued patience and support as we navigate these uncertain times.

From our family to all of yours, stay safe, stay healthy, and stay kind.

Sincerely,
The Clark Family

BREAKFAST?

After re-grouping and putting the proper precautions into place, starting tomorrow (Sunday, March 15th) we will OPEN for breakfast. We will be operating on limited seating to maximize space between tables and taking every precaution to ensure a safe and clean dining experience.

We ask that you please remain patient as we seat people and disinfect tables, chairs and other surfaces in between seatings. Please if you are feeling ill, have been in contact with someone who is, or have compromised health: stay home! In times such as these it is important for us to be kind and sensitive to the health of those around us.

WARKWORTH MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL – UPDATE

Following the events of the last 24 hours, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival. The sugarbush will be open for SALES ONLY. Unfortunately there will be no breakfast this weekend. From our family to yours, please stay healthy.

The following is a statement from the Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival Committee:

“In consideration of realities outlined below, sadly this weekend’s Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival has been cancelled:
– Acceleration of COVID19 issues.
– Appeals and advice from doctors, Health Ministries and government spokes persons to cancel or postpone gatherings of over 250 people.
-Our inability to ensure social distancing in our normal crowd sizes of 1000-2000 people a day on the buses and in line ups
– Our need to protect our volunteers many of whom are seniors.
– Our desire not to provide an environment where our children are at risk.
– Our desire to do our part in “flattening the curve” and keep this horrible virus from spreading to our area and Ontario.
Please follow the guidelines on staying safe as we face down this virus.
Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival Committee”
